Halifax Meadows

BET was retained by the Condominium Association at Halifax Meadows to design and oversee the replacement of the original clapboard siding at the front facades of all eleven buildings on site. The siding was 40+ years old, and the buildings had a tired appearance. BET's architectural team worked with the Association to develop a modernized design with new colors and siding/trim layouts. This included removing the original brick masonry veneer cladding originally utilized at portions of the buildings. BET's engineering team worked to ensure that the best materials and construction details were employed during the project, including a new air/weather barrier system behind the siding, proper roof-to-wall tie-ins, and new windows. After the bid and contract award process, BET worked alongside Mercantile Property Management providing construction observation and project administration services to ensure the work was done according to good workmanship standards, the specifications, and Code. The project was completed in 2019 by the The Isenberg Company and was well received by community. Everyone loved how great the buildings now looked!
