Willow Brook Condominium

BET was retained by the Condominium Association at Willow Brook to provide construction design and administration services for the replacement of the exterior siding, windows, doors, and decks at all 44 townhomes. The Contractor, Schernecker Property Services, had already replaced the roofs at the property several years prior, and had been preforming spot repairs to deck ledgers and leaking window locations around the property. It became clear that a full-scale envelope project was warranted given the increasing costs of maintaining the original materials. BET's engineering team worked with SPS to ensure that the best materials and construction details were employed during the project, including a new air/weather barrier system behind the siding, proper window, door, and deck flashings, and proper framing and footing design for the new decks. BET worked alongside Dannin Management Corporation providing construction observation and project administration services to ensure the work was done according to good workmanship standards, the specifications, and Code.
